JA Inspire is more than Junior Achievement's Career Expo Fair; it helps eliminate the lines that divide and limit many of our youth by bringing the business community and local schools together in order to create pathways that will launch 6^th & 12^th grade students into their FUTURE—high school, college, and careers beyond.

Why JA Inspire?

Students can expect to explore careers organized by career cluster through the online career expo platform. They may view videos, participate in online activities, and view other uploaded content about the careers represented. Students will gain real insights on what industries interest them, what specific jobs are like, and what education is required to do them successfully. JA Inspire Virtual will help students begin focusing on their future career options. For businesses, this is a chance to build your workforce and start showcasing the careers that will be needed for your business in the future!

What is the cost to attend JA Inspire?

Thanks to support from our generous sponsors, there is NO COST for your school to attend JA Inspire Virtual!

When is JA Inspire?

JA Inspire is open now until June 1, 2024! Live volunteers will be active in the booths to answer student questions on Nov. 7th-8th, Feb. 6th-7th, and Apr. 30th-May 1st.

What will students do at JA Inspire?

JA Inspire helps you learn about careers – ones that you may already be interested in and new ones that you may not even know existed! Explore and learn what fits best with your skills and abilities. Students will also be able to view webinars on important topics, such as soft skills, buying your first car, and getting your first job.

How do I log in?

Students will be pre-registered and will login using their unique username provided by JA to their teacher. No password is required. For questions relating to JA Inspire access, please contact Emily Watkins at emilyw@ja-utah.org in Utah or Ashley Jackson at ashley@jaidaho.org in Idaho. No webcam or software download is needed.

What should I do after I log in? How will I know where to go?

Upon logging into the event, you will watch a video welcoming you to the event and explaining how the day will go. In the event lobby, you will see all of the different booths that you can virtually visit and also go into the auditorium to listen to webinars and presentations! If you need help while you are in the event, visit an informational booth!

What should my plan be after JA Inspire?

JA Inspire has allowed you to do more research into careers you may not have considered or to visit those you are already interested in! Post event, you can research the company websites, complete the post curriculum and continue to use JA resources to determine your future plan!
